Project Overview
The DC Lacrosse Club is one of the largest men's lacrosse club teams in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The club maintains 4 active teams and plays in leagues and tournaments year round.
Requirements
The team needed to redesign its Web presence to support over 300 players and to support its many sponsors. In addition, they required a cloud-based system for recruiting, managing player information, scheduling games and events, communicating with members as well as providing social networking functionality.
Solution
The Drupal content management system provided an ideal platform to meet customer requirements by allowing them to update content and manage communications with minimal training and technical resources. In addition, it provides a path for future growth, including a planned online store and email newsletter.
